It was the first such appointment in almost a century, long before the end of absolute monarchy in Some of the pictures are in the vajiralongkorn private pictures royal tradition, with Sineenat wearing Thai dress and sitting at the king's feet. But she is also pictured in the cockpit of a fighter jet and wearing a grey camouflage pattern crop-top at the controls of a light aircraft.

Some pictures show Sineenat and the king holding hands while one shows them both in green combat fatigues with the royal pet dog. Born in the northern province of Nan, she graduated from the Royal Thai Army Nursing College, trained as a pilot in Thailand and abroad, and served in the king's royal bodyguard unit, reaching the rank of major-general in May.

In others, she's flying a jet, aiming a gun at a firing range, and wearing a parachute while posing next to a military plane. A particularly interesting one shows both her and Vajiralongkorn in military fatigues and holding the king's royal poodle, who holds a rank of Air Chief Marshal. The images appear to emphasize the year-old's distinguished career in the military -- having graduated from Army Nursing College in and spent time in the military undertaking courses in jungle warfare and piloting, she eventually went on to serve as Vajiralongkorn's bodyguard.

Other snaps highlight the royal and sophisticated side of her and were captured in a more traditional setting. Suthida Tidjai. Niramon Ounprom. Thai royal family. Heir apparent and social interest. It has been vajiralongkorn private pictures King Maha Vajiralongkorn - also known as Rama X - has self-isolated in a hotel in Germany with 20 of his girlfriends.

The year-old is said to have moved his entire harem of concubines into the high end Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl in Bavaria after he was given permission by authorities. Bavaria is under lockdown, like the rest of Germany, and the hotel should be closed down along with all the others but it was apparently been given "special permission" to remain open for the king and his bizarre court.

King Vajiralongkorn has long been a controversial figure in Thailand, where it is banned from criticising the royal family, or even their pets. Despite the threat of 35 years in prison, he is criticised in his home country, albeit in private. As the oldest monarch to ascend to Thailand's throne, King Vajiralongkorn, has been married four times and has a colourful private life.

Back in November a home video of the royal and his third wife, Srirasmi Suwadee, was leaked. The queen was wearing nothing but a G-string while servants waited on her hand of foot at the celebration of his pet poodle's birthday. That same year Harry Nicolaides, am Australian, was jailed for three years after he published a book which contained the sentence "if the prince fell in love with one of his minor wives and she betrayed him, she and her family would disappear with their name, familial lineage and all vestiges of their existence expunged forever".

Nicolaides was later pardoned by the king and he said his book had been "entirely fiction from cover to cover".
